I\u2019m that friend. The friend that plans everything. From planning trips for a crowd to planning what\u2019s for dinner this week, planning brings me peace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can\u2019t plan out your entire life. Trust me, I\u2019ve tried and miserably failed. As the wise John Lennon wrote, \u201cLife is what happens to you while you\u2019re busy making other plans.\u201d But, those other \u201cplans\u201d you\u2019re busy making should be worth your while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides, planning itself can be fun. And, if you aren\u2019t convinced yet, hopefully, my blog will make you a planner of the little moments that bring you joy, making them even more special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m passionate about bringing people together around food and new experiences. Planning is the way I show the people I love that I care about them \u2014 whether it\u2019s planning a trip to celebrate someone\u2019s birthday or planning a cozy dinner party on a cold winter night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a writer by trade and started my career with a brief stint as a travel writer. When researching destinations to write about, I was met with blog posts filled with fluff. Even when planning my own travels, I craved a resource that would cut the fluff and give me the straightforward information I needed to plan a great vacation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I\u2019m planning a trip, a dinner party, or whipping up a quick last-minute meal, I don\u2019t have time to read a 2,000-word blog post that delves into the writer\u2019s grandmother\u2019s personal connection to mac \u2018n\u2019 cheese. (Sorry! Just show me the recipe already!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, I\u2019ve set out to build the blog I\u2019d want to read. The blog that gets straight to the point and cuts the fluff. The blog that inspires me to plan something special for the people I love. The blog that makes planning easier and more fun for everyone, even non-planners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
